Thanks to all the beautiful people who joined Chloe Laing and I last night in The Khan at Falafel King, and thanks to Claire and Joram and all the staff for making it such a beautiful setting for music. It truly was a pleasure to sing to you all. I'm looking forward to many more nights of music in that wonderful little venue. Special thanks to Green from Avalon Roots for playing percussion and sharing a few of his songs with us.

Now the Summer is starting to roll and the road beckons.

I'll be in at The Green Man in Stamford, this Friday, May 27th, with an almost full compliment of Roving Blades for a rollicking evening of music and cheer. On Saturday 28th, We'll be joined by the redoubtable Dana Wylie straight from Canada (via Manchester) at The Lamplighter in Northampton for a very special one off reunion of the Dana Wylie Band. Then petrol and sanity permitting we'll be on our way down to The Small World Festival in Kent to play on Sunday.

The Following Thursday (June 2nd), we'll all be heading down to The Sunrise Festival for what promises to be one of the Festivals of the year. I'll be playing the Spit and Sawdust Stage with the full band, last on Sunday night, after playing shows with Lauren Wilce, The 32-20s, Stevie P, Chloe Laing, Dana Wylie, Avalon Roots and perhaps a few others. It's certainly going to be a packed weekend of music.

On the Monday morning I'll fly from Gatwick to Bulgaria to begin a 5-leg tour of the Balkans with my old mucka, Zoe Moffat and a host of salty, circus types. It'll be a bit hectic, but to be honest, I'm looking forward to not having to organise anything.

I look forward to seeing you down the road somewhere.
